Drawbacks and workarounds of power BI reporting.

Workaround
Cannot drill through a widget in a dashboard
Although this feature is enabled in some tools, it is not possible with power BI. This is because a dashboard displays the current snapshot of the data. Either you can navigate to the report from the dashboard or use only the reports (can be viewed full screen) which allows drill through.
Schedule an email to be sent to the entire team of the report
Scheduling an email can be done to a set of subscribed users. Unfortunately, to subscribe, one must pertain power BI license. Certain reports or statuses that must be sent to a team of about 10 or 20 or more just to show a status of maybe a project might not be something a company will likely to invest on.
Non-Numeric fields will be sorted in alphanumeric way and not numerically and you cannot set the way it should be arranged manually.
Example, W1, W2, W3, W4 W10, W12, W20 will be sorted according to W1, W10, W12, W2, W20, W3, W4.
Have an index field and sort the non-numeric field on the index field.
Should have a licensed account to display the report/dashboard in a big screen.
Either a new email account (which is another cost) should be created and the power BI license should be purchased, or the person having the power BI license should log into his power BI account in the specific machine and display the dashboard. However, the later involves a security drawback.
Cannot import a report from power BI site into the desktop. In other words, if you edit a published report from the site, and want to do further changes from the desktop, you cannot import and do on top of the edited version.
